The Report of the Committee on the Residential Experience (2008) The Committee on the Residential Experience has issued its final report of findings and recommendations. The Committee’s charge was to examine how our campus supports the mission for undergraduate education. Recommendations cover facilities needs, faculty/student interaction, and residential programming and staffing.

The renovation of J. Walter Wilson Hall, across the street from Faunce House and the Third World Center, has created offices, seminar space, and new homes for a variety of student services and resources. The Division of Campus Life and Student Services announces that the Brown University Sexual Assault Response Line (863-6000) is now operational. Phone this confidential line any time of the day or night to be connected to the University’s Sexual Assault Crisis Counselor, Emergency Medical Services, or the Department of Public Safety.

CAMPUS CENTER:
Thanks to the generosity of Stephen Robert '62 and several anonymous donors, the University will renovate Faunce House and create the new Stephen Robert ’62 Campus Center. Schwartz/Silver Architects have been selected to design the center, which is currently scheduled to be completed in 2010.
