Unity Worship Service with Allen Callahn Preaching, Sunday, February 24

This Sunday, Brown's Imani Jubilee will host a Unity Worship Service in celebration of Black History Month. The entire Brown Community is welcome to attend. The Rev. Dr. Allen Callahan, a former chaplain of the University, will preach. He is now professor of New Testament at the Seminário Teológico Batista de Nordeste in Bahia, Brazil.

The service will include music by Shades of Brown, readings, testimonies, preaching, worship and celebration. The service is at 6:00 p.m. in Manning Chapel.

The Imani Jubilee is a contemporary Christian worship service in the Black Church Tradition, celebrating the unity and diversity of God's humanity from around the globe. All are welcome regardless of religious affliation or nonaffliation!

Imani (Faith): "To believe with all our heart in our Creator, our people, our parents, our teachers, our leaders and the righteousness and victory of our struggle."
