The Colloquium is hosted by Brown University and sponsored by the Avi Schaefer
Fund, www.AviSchaeferFund.org. It was created in loving memory of Avi Schaefer, a Brown University Student who was tragically killed by a drunk driver in February 2010. Before his untimely death Avi was involved in a number of dialogue projects on Brown’s campus and had
hoped to create a conference to bring together Israeli and Palestinian students from all the Ivy League schools. We, Avi’s family and friends, are working to make his dream a reality.
