Multi-Faith Council Sponsors Religious Service Exchange, November 30 to December 3

The Multi-Faith Council has organized a prayer exchange weekend for Brown community members to explore the diverse religious life on campus. A representative of the council will be stationed at Faunce Arch 15 minutes before any of the following services and will walk with interested participants to these services.

Thursday, November 30
4:00 p.m., Zen Meditation, Manning Chapel

Friday, December 1
1:00 p.m., Jumuah (a service of Islamic congregational prayers), Champlin Basement, Pembroke Campus
5:00 p.m., Kavanah (Jewish meditation), Hillel Beit Midrash (upstairs)*
6:00 p.m., Chavurah Shabbat Services, Hillel Beit Midrash (upstairs)*
6:30 p.m., Reform, Conservative, and Orthodox Shabbat Services, Hillel (various rooms upstairs)*
7:00 to 8:00 p.m., St. Stephen's Episcopal Church Small Paraklesis Service (a service of the Small Supplicatory Canon to the Mother of God, 114 George Street (across from the Ratty)
7:30 p.m., *FREE* Community Shabbat Dinner, Hillel Social Hall*

Saturday, December 2
10:00 a.m., Shabbat Morning Services, Hillel Beit Midrash (upstairs)*
5:10 p.m., Catholic Mass, Manning Chapel
6:30 p.m., Taize (a Christian service of chanting and communal prayer), Manning Chapel

4:00 p.m., A Service of Lessons and Carols (a Christian advent service of music and readings), Sayles Hall
7:30 p.m., Weekly Worship (Brown University Unitarian Universalist Group), First Unitarian Church of Providence on Benevolent Street
