Parking is available for visitors staying on campus. For visitors driving to campus, parking passes can be requested in advance.

Driving Directions to Vartan Gregorian Quad
From the north

  • Take I-95 south to Exit 20, (I-195: Cape Cod, East Providence).
  • Once on I-195, take Exit 2.
  • At the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto Wickenden Street.
  • At the second light, turn left onto Brook Street.
  • Before the second stop sign, turn left onto the Power Street
  • Take your first right onto Thayer St. Vartan Gregorian Quad is immediately on the right.

From the south

  • I-95 north to Exit 20 (I-195: Cape Cod, East Providence).
  • Once on I-195, take Exit 2.

  • At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Gano Street.
  • At the blinking yellow light, turn left onto Power Street.
  • Turn left onto Brook Street and make your first right onto Power Street
  • Before the second stop sign, turn left onto the Power Street
  • Take your first right onto Thayer St. Vartan Gregorian Quad is immediately on the right.

Transportation from TF Green airport to campus:
The Brown University campus is located about 10 miles from the TF Green Airport. One-way taxi fare is approximately $35. The most economical transportation is the Airport Taxi & Limousine Service Shuttle which costs $11 one way. Shuttles leave every hour on the hour from TF Green and are available from 5:00am until midnight. Tickets can be purchased on the lower level of the airport near the exit. Transportation from Boston's Logan airport to campus:
From Logan International Airport, take the Peter Pan Bus, 800-343-9999, to Providence ($22 one way or $40 round trip). Buses run almost hourly (on the half-hour) and circulate throughout the terminal area. The Bonanza Bus will drop you off at Kennedy Plaza in downtown Providence. From there, you can either take a cab directly to the Brown campus or to your hotel. Detailed fare and schedules can be found here: http://www.peterpanbus.com/.

By Bus

Peterpan and Greyhound bus lines provide service to Providence from many cities throughout the New England region. The bus station is located just north of the Providence downtown area; from the bus station, downtown Providence and the Brown campus can be reached by shuttle or by taxi. By Train

Providence is on the Northeast Corridor Amtrak train route. The train station is located in the center of downtown Providence , just below the State House. It is a brief walk or taxi ride to the Brown campus.
