At the completion of this program, it is anticipated that the following will be accomplished:

• Teachers will have incorporated an inquiry-based approach to learning into their classroom
  
  
• Teachers will have an enhanced content knowledge in molecular biology, genomics, bioinformatics, neuroscience and physiology
  
  
• Teachers will become part of a long-term learning community
  
  
• Teachers will have access to unit plans aligned with the new RI Grade Span Expectations

• Students will be introduced to cutting-edge laboratory experiments in the fields of molecular biology, neuroscience and physiology.
