Dinner

5pm - 6:30 pm - dinner in one of Brown's dining halls.

-college success workshops such as writing the college admission essay
-a guest speaker(s) from our Summer@Brown Speaker Series

-ice cream social
-giant twister game
-yoga and meditation club

Note: although there are activities scheduled for just about every day, students are expected to manage their time effectively and complete assignments/study for class each night.

Weekends

On weekends, students are encouraged to take advantage of off campus trips to places of interest such as Boston or Newport. Dances, talent shows and karaoke are some of the more popular events that take place on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Two afternoons/evenings per week, each RA will facilitate a structured activity with their floor unit. The activities are up to the creativity of the RA but could include viewing a film such as "Social Class in America" followed by a group discussion, or teaming up with another floor unit for a giant twister game and pizza.

At the start of each week a student will receive via their RA a "Week @ a Glance" newsletter that will outline the week and weekend's activities.
