Academic and Financial Policies

Simply put, Brown has high academic expectations. Your classes will be filled with top-performing students who share a love of science.   SPARK courses do not have tests or grades.  The program allows you to concentrate on learning and the process of scholarship, not your final grade.  All students who successfully complete their course will receive a certificate of completion.

Financial Policies

Application fees and program deposits are non-refundable. Refunds of remaining fees will be made as follows:
Students who withdraw on or before the second day of classes (Tuesdays) will receive a refund of 80% of remaining fees, less a standard room and board charge of $245. Students who withdraw after the second day of classes will not be eligible for a refund.
