Supervision

A team of carefully selected and trained resident advisors (RAs) live in the residence halls and are on hand to assist students.

A highly trained and dedicated residential staff will be supervising SPARK students all day for the duration of the program. SPARK students are directly supervised by highly selected and trained Resident Advisors.  An average student/RA ratio of 12:1 guarantees that students will receive the personal attention they need. The residence halls are supervised 24/7. An adult, professional live-in staff member is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to manage any emergencies that might arise.

Please note that all students, with the exception of commuter students from Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts, are required to stay in Brown University’s residence halls.
