Brown University’s Commitment to the Station Education Fund
Dear Student,
Brown University is pleased to join with other schools across Rhode Island to support the Station Education Fund’s educational goals.
Brown offers Station Education Fund students an opportunity to attend Brown's Summer Pre-College programs, which give young people an exciting chance to explore academic interests as they prepare for college.
Before you attend, you will work with an advisor in the Office of Summer and Continuing Studies to select the courses best suited to your interests. In addition to the courses you will enjoy the many workshops offered through our “College Success Series” as well as opportunities to meet new friends, participate in extracurricular programs, and be inspired by the opportunities presented by the college experience.
Program Overview:
The following programs are among the opportunities available to you through the Station Education Fund. Brown University will cover all costs for Station Education Fund students who are accepted to these programs:
SPARK: Science Programs for 7th and 8th Grade Students
The Brown Leadership Institute: Leadership Development for High School Students
Pre-College Mini Courses: Courses in a wide variety of academic subjects and career exploration opportunities for High School Students
