A Simple Way To Do Business
- Brown's purchasing card is a MasterCard credit card that is accepted by most suppliers and merchants.
- Cardholders may place orders in person, over the telephone, or via the internet.
- Cardholders may view their purchasing card activity online via the internet.
- All purchasing card charges will be paid monthly by the Controller's Office and electronically charged to each department's designated GL accounts without any departmental paperwork.
- Purchasing card charges default to predetermined general ledger accounts and subcodes. Cardholders review their charges regularly (at least monthly) and, if necessary, redistribute the charges to other accounts and subcodes.
- Managers can request on-line access to view charges and create reports detailing their department's credit card charges.
