Students as Consumers
Using copyrighted materials in an assignment
Students follow the same permissions and fair use guidelines as all other members of the university. Students using copyrighted materials, including printed documents, audio, video, and film need to abide by US copyright law.
To figure out whether the use you want falls under fair use, use the fair use checklist.
