Credit to Audit, Research Paper help
Dear first-years,
As February draws to a close, we alert you to yet another course registration deadline, as well as a great offer from the Brown Library.
* Friday, March 9 at 5:00 pm is the deadline for changing from credit to audit in a course. An audit carries no course credit, but it does count as one of the five courses for which you can enroll in any given semester. It will also appear on your transcript if you've satisfied the instructor's expectations for an audit in that course.
* Have some research papers looming in your near future? Subject librarians are available to any undergraduate student for individual research consultations. These sessions can help you get started on your research and introduce you to some nifty, time-saving tools. Consultations can be arranged online at http://library.brown.edu/forms/rescnslt.php or by contacting the appropriate subject librarian at http://library.brown.edu/about/specialists.php.
As always, please let us know if you have questions or concerns and aren't sure where to turn: Advising@brown.edu.
