After Your Event

Congratulations! You've made it.

Don't forget to finalize and submit your Fire Safety checklist (if you anticipated more than 50 guests).

Clean-Up and Damage

It is important to consider how the clean-up of your event will be done in advance. In most cases, if food will be served, you will be required to hire a custodian through Facilities Event Support. In other cases, you may be able to do it yourself, but be sure you have adequate volunteers on hand.

Keep in mind that any damage to the facility, particularly if an individual cannot be identified, will likely be your responsibility.

Evaluation

After your event, we encourage you to take some time to evaluate how things went even if you just take a moment to jot down a few things you would do differently in the future. If you know the event will be held again, organize a binder with all the relevant information, including estimates and a planning timeline that worked well.
