Biltmore Hotel (various rooms, one holding up to 400 people threatre style; more for receptions)

Central Congregational Church (near Wheeler).  800 people.  331-1960

Courtyard Marriott. Largest room seats 125.

Federal Reserve (60 Dorrance St). Mainly for weddings, but could be used as a high-end, downtown reception/dinner site (approx. 125 for dinner). 401-621-5700

First Baptist Church (North Main Street).  1300 people.  454-3418

First Church of Christ Science on Prospect St.  800 people.  421-6618

First Unitarian Church (Benevolent and Benefit). Close to campus, reasonably priced. Many meeting and function rooms of various sizes, including the main congregation hall holding approximately 800 people.

Holiday Inn. Largest room holds a reception for 400 people.

Jewish Community Center (JCC)

Johnson & Wales Inn

Radisson Hotel (largest room holds 100).

The Rhode Island Foundation (One Union Station, Kennedy Plaza)-three small meeting spaces for 8-25 ppl, plus one large room for a reception of up to 85.
