REGISTRATION FOR BROWN COURSES (SPECIAL STUDENT STATUS) ACADEMIC YEAR 2007-2008

 

Course Fee for Academic Year 2007/2008: $4,448

 

REGISTRATION PROCESS

You must complete the following steps to be formally registered for your Brown course:

  1. Complete and submit an EEP Application for course approval. Attach the course description and one copy of the EEP application.
  2. Complete and submit a Special Student Application from the Office of Summer and Continuing Studies.
  3. Pick up your registration packet on the designated registration dates between 8:30-5:00 at the Office of Summer and Continuing Studies located at 42 Charlesfield Street, Tower E.
  4. Once you have picked up your registration packet, you will be sent to the Registrar's Office to complete the registration process.

Important Dates for the Fall 2007 Semester:

September 5, 2007 – Classes for the 1st semester begin

September 18, 2007 - Last day to add a course without a fee (not covered by the EEP)

October 2, 2007 – Last day to change a grade option

October 19, 2007 (mid semester)– Last day to drop a course without penalty

Important Dates for the Spring 2008 Semester:

January 23, 2008 – Classes for the 2nd semester begin

February 5, 2008 – Last day to add a course without a fee (not covered by the EEP)

February 20, 2008 – Last day to change a grade option

March 7, 2008 (mid-semester) – Last day to drop a course without penalty

You will be charged a penalty fee under the following circumstances if you:

  • Drop the course after the drop deadline date.
  • Do not pass the course with a grade of C or better, satisfactory, or pass.

 

After the completion of your course, the Registrar’s Office will forward a copy of your grade report to the Benefits Office.
