Tips for Making the Most of Staff Development Day!

Tips for Participants

Your participation matters!
  • Sign up early using our web-based registration system. You will gain access to the system when registration opens on Tuesday, May 20th, at 8:30am.
  • Consider our suggested tracks! These professional and personal development tracks have been designed to provide you with a deeper perspective in one topic area.
  • Take responsibility! Remember, you may change your registration at any time. If you cannot attend a session, please remove your name from the registration system to free up space for others.
  • Print your confirmation email listing your schedule and room location. Don't forget it on June 4th!
  • Plan your workload to minimize the impact of being out of the office.
  • Give! Participate in SAC's public service event on the Main Green during breakfast, or under Wayland Arch during the barbeque.
  • Evaluate your sessions! You will receive an email reminder following Staff Development Day with a link to an on-line evaluation.
  • Network with someone outside of your department! Staff Development Day is a great opportunity to put a "face with a name!"
