Heather Ahlburn Emerick

Heather returned to Brown University after a 10 year career in the retail industry specializing in operations, management, and training. During that time she trained groups from 5 to 500 on topics ranging from product knowledge to customer service, leadership and communication. She has developed customer service and communications training programs for several large retail companies including Monsoon/ Accessorize and Crabtree & Evelyn. Heather delivers training and development programs throughout the University community including New Hire Orientation, Management Development Program Level One and Two, Customer Service and E-mail Etiquette. She is a certified instructor of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. She is also available to assist departments in developing programs specific to their needs. Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Kenyon College and a Master of Science degree in Psychology from Brown University.
