Can You Hear Me Now? Improving Listening Skills
In this workshop, you will learn about the five levels of listening, assess your current listening skills, and employ strategies necessary to become an active/empathic listener. The workshop also touches on the basics of body language, voice reflection and visual listening. In all, you will discover how to handle both individual and group communication challenges and leave with an action plan for continued communication skills improvement!
The program consists of one half day session and is presented by the Center for Staff Learning & Professional Development. Classes are posted on training.brown.edu. If you do not see a scheduled class, check back!
