Managing Up
This course helps staff memebers enhance the relationships they have with their boss and, at the same time, provides the skills to be more assertive and confident. We will discuss communication skills, conflict resolution and find methods to ensure that the employee and the boss are on the same page when it comes to organizational change and performance management. Managing Up is facilitated by Sharon Chancellor from Chancellor HRD.
The workshop runs for one half day. Classes are posted on training.brown.edu and announced in Morning Mail. The workshops may also be run by request for interested departments.
