Internationalization at Brown

Faculty Opportunities and Resources

Funds for Internationalizing Curriculum:

International Affairs will offer grants to faculty who are developing new courses or revising existing ones by inviting guest speakers or developing other initiatives that will bring an internationalized perspective to the subject. For complete application and program information click here.

International Travel Fund:

The International Travel Fund is available to full time Brown faculty for assistance in meeting the costs of one professional trip per academic year. The travel stipend can be used for a trip to deliver a paper at an international conference. The Fund is not designed to cover field work. For application information please click here.

Faculty Initiatives for International Research and Collaboration:

International Affairs will offer seed grants to encourage and support more advanced research and analysis in collaboration with global peers to enable the international investigation of important questions and problems. Faculty applying for these grants should submit a project proposal and budget.
