The Rev. Al Sharpton to speak about blacks and the political process

The Rev. Al Sharpton will be the guest of the Brown Lecture Board when he discusses Black Participation in the Political Process on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, at 8:15 p.m. in the Salomon Center for Teaching.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Well-known social activist the Rev. Al Sharpton will be the guest of the Brown Lecture Board on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, at 8:15 p.m., when he will discuss Black Participation in the Political Process.

The Brown Lecture Board, a student organization, sponsors events intended primarily for Brown students. A limited number of seats will be reserved for the media and the public in the Salomon Center for Teaching (located on The College Green). Media representatives should call the Brown News Service to reserve available seats. Doors will open at 7:15 p.m.
