From Martha Mitchell’s Encyclopedia Brunoniana: Ancient Studies Ancient Studies is a program administered by a director and an executive committee for the purpose of the study of the ancient world as a whole, including Mesopotamia, Egypt, Israel, and India, as well as Greece and Rome. Students concentrating in Ancient Studies choose appropriate courses in the Departments of Classics, Judaic Studies, Religious Studies, and Egyptology.
