| At Keio you receive a monthly living stipend of 100,000 yen per month (approx. $1000) . You will receive 100,000 yen upon your arrival and 100,000 yen every month after that. This stipend will cover rent and basic meals. Keio University does not have its own dormitories either on or off campus. There are some private student dormitories, however. The International Center at Keio University assists foreign students in finding suitable housing and supplies the students with extensive written information about housing. Students are required to complete a detailed questionnaire regarding their housing needs and preferences. There are opportunities for family stays, apartments and privately owned student dormitories. | |

Health Insurance: Students will be billed automatically for Brown Student Health Insurance, unless an online “Health Insurance Waiver Form” is completed by June 1st for Fall and Full year programs or January 1st for Spring programs. You will receive a Student Health Insurance Plan information packet, which will include instructions on how to waive the insurance online. Remember you will only be able to waive the Student Health Insurance Plan if you have other comparable insurance in place.
