Brown in France - Housing

Housing

Students live in a foyer at Brown's expense during the first three weeks of orientation in Paris while the office staff assists them in finding housing for the remainder of their time in France.

With the assistance of the Paris office, students in Paris find their own housing. They may move into their permanent place as soon as they wish but no later than three weeks after their arrival. (Note that no refund is given for leaving the foyer early.) Housing options include living alone in a studio, sharing housing with local residents or other students, and occasionally students have found a position as an au pair.

In Lyon, students are assisted in their housing search by the staff there and have similar options to those of the Paris students.
