About Berlin
Perhaps nowhere else in the world has the political history of the 20th century left its traces as visibly as in Berlin. For this reason, the city provides the perfect setting to view the contrast between old and new. Students will experience the city's transformation into a cosmopolitan European capital of the 21st century, while walking daily in the shadows of its turbulent past.

About Humboldt University
Founded in 1810 by the Prussian king, Friedrich Wilhelm III, Humboldt University's mission has long been to achieve a unity of teaching and research and provide students with an all-around humanist education. By drawing on and contributing to the rich history and cultural life of the city, Humboldt has remained true to its principles and become an internationally acclaimed institution.

About Tübingen
Located in the southwest of Germany, Tübingen is one of Germany’s oldest and most picturesque university towns. Gabled medieval houses crowd against the ancient town wall on the bank of the Neckar river, and cobblestoned streets wind through the old downtown. At the same time, the university's signficant presence has propelled Tübingen into the modern world, and it pulses with young, student life.

About Eberhard-Karls University
Founded in 1477 by Count Eberhard, Eberhard-Karls University today enrolls over 26,000 students and upholds its repuation as one of the most outstanding universities in Europe. Known especially for its faculties of Medicine and Theology, Tübingen nevertheless boasts a strong liberal arts curriculum, marked by its awareness of both tradition and modernism.
