Housing
Housing in India is arranged with the goal
of local integration and safety in mind. The arrangements are similar
at both St. Stephens and Lady Shri Ram Colleges.
At St. Stephens, students are typically housed in a three-bedroom, air-conditioned flat with individual bathrooms as well as a shared kitchen and a common room. The apartment is completely furnished and includes access to a washing machine. A female cook comes in twice a day to fix meals and theres a plumbing and electrical team available to address any problems with the facilities. A security guard is on the premises, and can be reached via intercom. The apartment is about 10 minutes from the school by auto-rickshaw.
The arrangements at Lady Shri Ram College are in the process of being changed, so keep checking back for updated information as we have it. Chances are the living arrangements will be similar to those at St. Stephens.
