Accommodations in Stockholm

Students have the option of living with a Swedish family or in an apartment. Families are a great way to learn more about the culture and to practice your Swedish. Families are chosen strictly because they want an intercultural experience and so students become part of the family, not simply a boarder.

Students may also choose to live in an apartment. Typically, two Swedish Program students will live together with a Swedish student in a two-bedroom, fully furnished apartment. The apartments are located throughout the city. Living with a Swedish student from Stockholm University provides an excellent opportunity for a valuable intercultural experience.
