University Events
University Events develops and manages the major traditional events and ceremonies at Brown University. These include Commencement, Opening Convocation, Parents Weekend, the December mid-year Completion Ceremony, the annual PAUR/Providence Journal Conference, and presidential inaugurations.
The Events staff plans endowed and other annual lectures, special programs and events for the President and other University administrators, and groundbreaking ceremonies. In addition, the staff provides support for the President’s visiting guests and other dignitaries, and manage the President’s host program.
