Amy works to identify funding opportunities for faculty.  In this new position, Amy works in close collaboration with the Office of the Vice President for Research and Corporate and Foundation Relations to identify funding opportunities through government agencies including NIH and the NSF as well as private foundations. Amy handles the management of restricted submissions and maintains the Funding Opportunities database. She provides training for Sponsored Programs Information Network (SPIN) and manages the review of the ADVANCE Career Development Awards.

Amy trained and worked for many years as a women's studies librarian, most recently at the University of Michigan Graduate Library. Prior to that she was the Librarian/Archivist for the American Association of University Women.
