About The Associate Provost
Nancy Dunbar is responsible for developing and overseeing mechanisms of institutional assessment at the department and program level. She directs external reviews of academic departments, centers, institutes and programs and assists department chairs and center and institute directors in preparing for reviews. She works closely with Institutional Research, the Registrar and the Deans on academic planning and assessment. She staffs the Academic Priorities Committee. Nancy also provides leadership on the development and management of academic information systems and is the Provost’s office liaison to CIS and other offices on matters of academic computing; she leads the New Media Working Group and represents the office on the IT Priorities Review Committee and the IT Advisory Board. Currently Nancy supervises the offices of the Registrar and Institutional Research, staffs the Corporation Committee on Academic Affairs, and coordinates the academic strategic planning process. |
