Welcome to our website! The Department of Public Safety is a nationally accredited campus law enforcement agency. Our police and security officers patrol the campus 24/7. DPS received its accreditation status from CALEA, the Commission On Accreditation For Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. in 1998, and was recently re-accredited in November 2007.

Personal Safey Alarms (PAL's) have been issued to all first-year students in their post office box! Personal Safety Alarms are free for all students, and available to staff/faculty at a cost of $5. PALs are available at all DPS locations.
