Biomedical Engineering

Biomedical Engineering is an interdisciplinary concentration designed for students interested in applying the methods and tools of engineering to the subject matter of biology and the life sciences. It is administered jointly by the Division of Engineering and the Division of Biology and Medicine.

Honors

Honors in the concentration requires a thesis and an oral presentation based on a research project (in the context of BI 195/196 or EN 195/196) and a superior record in the concentration.

Concentration Advisors:

M. Lysaght and T. Palmore. Upon selecting the concentration, students will have dual advisors, one from the Division of Engineering and one from the Division of Biology and Medicine.
