The Center has developed two resources to help orient instructors to teaching at Brown:

This Sheridan Center resource lists key campus resources for instructors new to teaching at Brown and explains terms unique to Brown. Topics include Getting Started, Classes & the Curriculum, Campus Resources and the Brown Administration.

· Teaching at Brown: A Handbook for Faculty, Teaching Assistants and Teaching Fellows

This Sheridan Center handbook provides an introduction to teaching at Brown, a summary of research on teaching and learning, an overview of various pedagogical techniques and forms of assessment, a discussion of teaching to diversity, and suggestions for evaluating and improving teaching.
