Events Subcommittee

Charge

To plan and organize events on behalf of SAC

Activities

Community events including the dump and run sale (jointly with the Swearer Center), and Rebuilding Providence. Organizes forums with the President and SAC community meetings.

 

Outreach and Communication Subcommittee

Charge

To oversee and make recommendations on communications, including print communciations and the SAC Web, and to make recommendations on facilitating communication between University staff, SAC and the senior administration.

Activities

Reviews and /or produces communications, including brochures, Morning Mail announcements, e-mail announcements, and postings to the Web site.

 

Staff Participation Subcommittee

Charge

To investigate and make recommendations on staff participation in the University's governance and on appropriate staff involvement in decision-making processes.

Activities

  • Organizes focus groups on staff involvement
  • Makes recommendations on staff representatives for University committees
  • Makes recommendations to SAC on staff participation in decision making
