Brown University Activities Council (BUAC)

BUAC exists to better the environment for student groups at Brown by advocating for their needs and encouraging collaboration. Every UCS Category 3 organization is granted one vote in the BUAC general body, which is anticipated to meet once a semester.

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee facilitates the activities of BUAC and works to further BUAC's purpose between general body meetings. To be on the Steering Committee, individuals must be members of at least one UCS Category 3 orgnization. For the purpose of ensuring broad representation of student organization needs, five of the nine Steering Committee members are selected by the five BUAC categories of student organizations.

The current membership of the committee is:
