2008-2009 Goals

The CPAB will spend this academic year providing input into major capital project planning and other planning issues related to the physical campus:

Major Capital Projects
Provide periodic input for on-going capital project planning such as the following:

  • The Walk
  • Creative Arts Center
  • Mind/Brain/Behavior Building
  • Nelson Fitness Center
  • New Swim Center
  • Faunce House Renovation

On-going Planning Issues
Review and provide advice to the administration on active planning studies such as:

  • Renovation versus Building New
  • Campus Accessibility
  • Parking and traffic on College Hill

Long-term Planning Issues

Discuss and provide guidance and feedback on issues that affect the long-term growth of the Brown campus:

  • Medical education expansion
  • Strategic Growth off College Hill
