What exactly is "Club Ice Hockey?"

Club hockey means that we play a full-contact game, generally three periods of 15 or 20 minutes and usually by NCAA rules. The bottom line is that club hockey is a high level game without the commitment of varsity. The team is run by students and for students. That means that we coach, manage and organize ourselves.

How good are you guys?

We like to think that we have a certain amount of skill. Most of us have played at the level of varsity in high school, or the equivalent thereof. We aren't the varsity squad but we are for those who aren't satisfied with the skill level of intramural.

Are you guys in a league or something?

Not currently. We are looking into joining one next season, but there is a lot of logistical working outs that need to happen before that.

Who do you guys play?

We play pretty much anyone we can schedule a game against.
