Welcome to the Brown University Intramural website, the #1 intramural sports web page in the Ivy League. The mission of the Brown University Intramural program is to provide a variety of leisure time sport opportunities that will enhance the students overall academic experience and meet the diverse needs of the students, faculty, staff and university community.
The program is committed to offering safe, quality programs, facilities and services to the Brown University community.The Brown University Intramural program offers team, individual and special event activities to over 4,100 participants in the Brown community. All of our programs are designed to maximize participation and accommodate a wide range of interests and abilities. These programs are open to all Brown & RISD students, faculty and staff.
The intramural department is always open to suggestions and comments. Please direct all concerns to the Intramural Coordinator, Diane Yee.

Attendance at the Captains' Meetings are MANDATORY!!
Forfeit fees will be at risk.
Participants must be on the roster and have their Brown/RISD ID on site in order to participate!!

~ Introducing: Men's, Women's, and Co-ed Leagues (see fall, winter and spring sport pages for sport specific offerings)
~ Participants can only be on one (1) team per division (High, Mid, Low) and cannot play in both the High AND Low Divisions. (see Eligibility on the registration page)
~ Varsity athletes are not permitted to participate in their equivalent intramural sport (see Eligibility on the registration page)
~ There's a limit of two (2) club sport members per intramural team. Club members cannot play in the low division of their equivalent sport. (see Eligibility on the registration page)
~ Teams can add to their roster throughout the regular season.
~ Participants must play for a team in the regular season to be eligible to play for them in the post season.
Lightning Policy ~
Outdoor games will be cancelled
and rescheduled for lightning. Games cannot be played within 30 minutes of the last seen lightning bolt.
