BOTH PARTS NEED TO BE COMPLETED ONLINE BEFORE THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE!

1. PAYMENT

Each sport/event hosted by the Intramural Department has an associated entry fee (see chart below). Fees must be paid through: Touchnet. Team sports (season play only) have a built-in forfeit fee. The $10 forfeit fee will be returned to the teams during a given refund period following the end of the season/playoffs, barring the following:

● Captain or team representative attends captains meeting before the season and before the playoffs.
● Teams must show up with at least the minimum amount of players to each scheduled contest to avoid forfeit. A team can also avoid a forfeit if they cancel prior to 5:00PM of the business day before competition through the Intramural Office.
● Sport specific rules outline the amount of games that are allowed to be forfeited before a team loses their forfeit fee and eligibility into playoffs.

2. Team Registration
FALL 2009 Registration September 8 - September 18 (5pm)

Each team must register through imleagues.com. To be included on any intramural team, participants must be registered on this website. Please use your Brown Email Address to expedite your registration process.

Click on Brown University --> School Home.
Then scroll down and click on the desired League within the Sport you wish to play in.

There are 2 ways to build your team:
* Captains can make teams and invite people to join (people invited must confirm)
* People can request to join an existing team (captain must confirm)

NOTE: Teams cannot be formed until the registration period begins.
In the meantime please have all your prospective teammates
create an account on the site.

2a. FREE AGENTS

If you do not have a team, you may register to be a free agent. Captains have access to this list and are free to invite you to their team. You must accept their invitation to be included. You can also request to join a team, but the captain must confirm you before you are added. The website is imleagues.com. Please use your Brown Email Address to expedite the registration process.

NOTE: Free Agents cannotsign up until the registration period begins. In the meantime please create an account on the site.

eligibility

Varsity athletes are ineligible to participate in their equivalent intramural sport, throughout their academic year of athletic eligibility (e.g. a 2008 soccer player cannot participate in 2008 fall outdoor soccer or 2009 spring indoor soccer).

Club Sport participants ARE allowed to play in intramural leagues, but no more than (2) of either gender can play on one team (e.g. a male and female club ultimate frisbee player can play on an intramural team, but no more). For Ice Hockey the limit will be (4) per intramural team. Club members cannot play in the low division.

Team limitations
~ Participants can only play on one team per Division (H, M, L) per League (O, M, W, C).
~ Participants cannot participate in both the High and Low Division in the same League.
