team roster racket roster soccer roster

2 PARTS TO REGISTRATION:

BOTH PARTS NEED TO BE SUBMITTED TOGETHER BEFORE THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE!

Items must be delivered to the Intramural Office, OMAC 101, during the given registration periods.

1. TEAM ROSTER

Each Team must submit a Team Roster form (soccer teams should submit a Soccer Roster form). These forms must be completed truthfully and in it's entirety. Make sure you take class and work schedules into consideration when fielding a team. There is a minimum of players needed to compete in each team sport; refer to the Notes for each sport within the Fall Sports, Winter Sports and Spring Sports page. If you need or would like to pick up more participants, consult the list on Free Agents page.

See Eligibility below.

1a. INDIVIDUAL/DUAL ROSTER

For individual and dual sports (tennis, squash, badminton) a Racket Roster must be completed. Varsity and club athletes are ineligible to participate in their equivalent sport. Participants are given a schedule matrix but are charged with scheduling their own matches within the restrictions of court availability. Squash courts should be reserved through extension 3-1313. Remaining courts are first come, first serve.

2. ENTRY/FORFEIT FEE

Each sport/event hosted by the Intramural Department has an associated entry fee (see chart below). Team sports (season play only) have an accompanying forfeit fee. The forfeit fee ($10 for team sports - built into entry fees) will be returned to the teams during a given refund period following the end of the season/playoffs, barring the following:

● Captain or team representative attends captains meeting before the season and before the playoffs (if applicable).
● Teams must show up with at least the minimum amount of players to each scheduled contest to avoid forfeit. A team can also avoid a forfeit if they cancel prior to 5:00PM of the business day before competition.
● Sport specific rules outline the amount of games that are allowed to be forfeited before a team loses their forfeit fee and eligibility into playoffs.

eligibility

Varsity athletes are ineligible to participate in their equivalent intramural sport, throughout their academic year of athletic eligibility (e.g. a 2007 soccer player cannot participate in 2007 fall outdoor soccer or 2008 spring indoor soccer).

Club Sport participants ARE allowed to play on intramural leagues, but no more than (2) of either gender can play on one team (e.g. a male and female club ultimate frisbee player can play on an intramural team, but no more). Club members cannot play in the low division (if it is offered).

Team limitations ~ One (1) person can play on two (2) teams, per sport, in the following scenarios:

~Team Sports that offer Men's Women's & Co-ed Leagues ~
One (1) men's team AND one (1) co-ed team
One (1) women's team AND one (1) co-ed team

~Team sports that offer the Open League and Three Divisions~
(3v3 basketball, ice hockey, all soccers, and ultimate frisbee)
One (1) high AND one (1) mid team
One (1) mid AND one (1) low team
