Well, the fall season is coming to a close. Our home tournament, Huck-a-Hunk-O'-Burnin'-Pumpkin, was a success; the A team finished in second place, losing a tight finals game to UMass; the Alumni team (dressed as our favorite 80's celebrities) performed well, losing to Harvard in the quarters; and the grudge match between the B teams was intense as always, featuring the British versus the French.
The A team is now finalized, and will start training and ramping up for the spring season. Stay posted for a new roster and a P-Funk section, coming soon!

Welcome, Class of 2009!
We encourage all students to check out our program, the strongest in the country! Our A squad took home the 2005 National Championship in May, and our B team finished 7th out of 59 in the New England Region.
This fall promises to be another exciting and successful season for Ultimate Frisbee here at Brown. We anticipate over 100 athletes playing in our Fall League, which will be an intramural league with each team playing 2 days a week. All levels of experience are welcome. Athletes on Brown's teams have exceptionally varied backgrounds, from veterans with 12 years of experience, to high school track, soccer, and football stars who have never played competitive Ultimate before.

If you're interested in getting started this Fall, there are a few events to check out:
We've set up a game during orientation on Saturday, September 3rd, from 12-3 behind the OMAC. This is a great place to meet returning players and captains.
We will have a booth at the activities fair, inside the OMAC from 6-8. Here you'll get a chance to talk to team members one-on-one, get questions answered, and sign up for our e-mail listserv.
The listserv is how we will communicate all goings-on to the Ultimate community. Information about fall-league sign-ups and practices will be sent out to the list, so everyone will want to be on that.
