May 30   Will Arnold and Josh Ziperstein were recently named to the men's 2003 All-Region team for New England. Joining them on the women's side are Maureen McCamley and Rebecca Simon of Disco Inferno. Congrats to these four. May 29   A fond farewell to graduating seniors Michael Franz, Jake Keeler, Kevin Loo, Bob Michael, Brian Nicholas, Ernest Nino-Murcia, Graham Siener, Krister Fardig, and Benjamin Finkel. Best of luck, gentlemen. May 28   Brown tied for fifth at UPA College Nationals in Austin, TX, losing 15-12 in the quarterfinals to Carleton College. Many thanks to the parents and alumni who braved the Texas heat to support our players. Your generosity and support were truly wonderful. Many thanks also to coaches Nathan Wicks and Tom Matthews. Lastly, congratulations to Brownian Motion on a successful season and a sweet run to Nationals. We'll be back again in the fall. May 5   A 4-0 sweep of Regionals opponents, including a hard-fought victory over UMass in the finals, has brought Brown to the promised land: Nationals. (Our women's team is coming too, so we've heard.) The scores: Bates College, 15-0; Boston U, 15-4; Williams College, 15-11; UMass 17-15. Photos and more to come in the next several days. Brown Ultimate extends its most sincere condolences to the family, friends and teammates of BYU Ultimate player Curtis Randall, who tragically lost his life in a motor vehicle accident on his way to the Northwest Regional tournament. We would also like to wish a speedy recovery to those BYU players injured in the accident, and also to Isaiah Robison of UMass, who fractured his leg in the finals game against us. Best wishes.
