EVENTS & OUTREACH

As our size has grown, the Brown Club Tennis Team has been able to take a more active role in the community around us.  Recently, we established a partnership with The Wheeler School and Coach Peter Lau.  Several members of our team have volunteered to help coach the Girls Varsity and Junior Varsity Tennis Teams.  We run drills, discuss match strategy and bring an eclectic array of games to the program.  We have already signed on to continue next year and hope to extent our partnership to the Boys Teams as well.

UPCOMING EVENTS....

On Saturday, October 24, Brown will be hosting its Second Annual Brown Bowl.  Teams from all over the northeast will be competing for what has become a coveted prize in only a years time.  For any prospective members, this would be a perfect time to come out and get to see what Brown Club Tennis is all about.  Matches will start at noon and will be held at the Varsity courts as well as at Moses Brown and Hope High School.

On October 29 and 30, the Brown Club Tennis Team will be hosting a Halloween Bake Sale on the Main Green.  Matt Doup promises to model the outfit seen at right so come out and show him that his talents will not go unnoticed.
