The Brown Club Tennis Team owes much of its success to our past captains, Alex Baker and Paul Bixenstine. Members of the classes of 2009 and 2008 respectively, Alex and Paul put in an extraordinary amount of effort to build up our program from a couple of members who competed a couple of times a year to a national contender with several weekly practices. Their countless hours meeting with the Athletic Department, scheduling matches and fund raising have given many Brown students the chance to continue playing competitive tennis. We know that their spirits will always be with us on the court and that their commanding presence will be felt for years to come.
