The Men's Club Tennis Team provides an opportunity for people interested in playing tennis on a competitive, non-varsity level to play with people at Brown and other schools. Most team members are former high school or sectional level tournament players. During the year, spring and fall semesters, there are regular practices for team members. Also, several matches are played against other club teams, JV teams or Division 3 varsity squads. Usual opponents include Harvard, Tufts, Dartmouth, Williams, and Yale. The purpose of the team is purely for those who still enjoy competing at tennis to have an opportunity to do so, but commitment to playing matches, both home and away, is encouraged.
