GENERAL INFORMATION

  • In order to be eligible to register for the Brown University Physical Education Program you must hold a valid Brown or RISD Identification Card OR a valid Brown Recreation Pass (Note: During the Summer Session only, you may register without an ID or Recreation Pass.)
  • Payment methods accepted: Personal check, traveler's check, money order, cash (unfortunately, we do not accept credit cards). Cash should not be sent via campus or U.S. mail.
  • All courses have an enrollment limit. Mail-in registration forms will be dated as received. Confirmation of your enrollment will be sent in the form of a receipt mailed to your address. If you do not receive a spot in the class of your choice, you will be provided an opportunity to enroll in a second choice OR request a full refund.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASS REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

  • All registration forms must be sent by mail or dropped in thte drop slot outside OMAC 101 except during the two days of walk-in registration. Walk-in registration will only be accepted during the times below

MAIL IN REGISTRATION

  • Individuals may register by filling out the registration form received through campus mail or downloading the form from the Physical Education section of brownbears.com and mailing it with payment.

WALK IN REGISTRATION

Individuals may walk in to register at the Olney-Margolies Athletic Center (OMAC) during the following times:

Wednesday February 13th: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm & 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Thursday February 14th: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

REFUND POLICY

  • No refunds are given for Intersession Classes.
  • For semester and summer classes, all refund requests must be accompanied by the original receipt. All requests must be made in person at OMAC room 101.
  • 100% refund will be issued up until the end of week 1.
  • 50% refund will be issed up until the end of week 2.
  • No refunds will be issued thereafter.
  • No exceptions will be made for late registrants.
  • Medical refunds must be accompanied by original receipt as well as aproppriate documentation from the physician/health care provider. All medical refunds will be pro-rated according to the date of the request. All medical requests must be made in person in OMAC room 101.
