Q: Who can use the pool?
A: Brown students, faculty and staff and their spouses/partners if they hold a recreational pass.
Q: When is the pool open for Recreational Swim?
A: Monday through Friday, 11AM-2PM, though we are hoping to make more hours available in the future
Q: How do I get to the pool?
A: The pool is located behind the OMAC in the Northeast corner. The only way to access the pool is through the OMAC. From the main entrance pool goers should take the stairs at the end of the balcony and walk along the East wall. Pool goers SHOULD NOT walk across the track or courts.
Q: What should I bring to the pool?
You must wear your swimsuit, shirt and footwear. It is highly recommended that you bring a towel and layers of clothing as you will be outside for a short period of time between buildings.
Q: Where are the restrooms, showers, etc.?
The facility is just a pool. Restrooms are located in the OMAC behind the fitness corner and in the locker-rooms. Pool users should use the general locker-room in the OMAC to hold their belongings that will not be needed in the pool area.
Q: Can I bring a friend?
A: The pool is open to just Brown Students, Faculty and Staff (and pass holding spouses/partners). Because of the limited hours we will not be opening to Recreational members.
Q: Will there be PE classes?
A: There are no PE swim classes at this time.
