Coed Team Wins 2013 New England Team Race and Dinghy Championships

The Bears won their second New England Championship of 2013, winning the New England Team Race Championship at Harvard, May 4-5. It came down to the last race of the regatta with Boston College for the title, and the Bears prevailed in an action packed back and forth race. In 2012, Boston College beat the Bears on a tiebreaker for this championship. Brown finished with 13 wins and 6 losses in the 12 team event and will head to the College Sailing/APS Team Race National Championship from May 25-27 in St. Pete, FL.

Brown was honored with six All-New England Coed Team selections for 2012-2013:
