I think of you guys often and wonder how you are. As for
me, my life here is wonderful. I'm doing AmeriCorps: working at two high
schools in Federal Way, Washington, outside of Seattle. I teach in four
different classrooms: ESL, Special Ed and two Basic English classes. I've
also been playing Ultimate a lot: there are tons of pick-up groups, and
then I play with a team called D'OH. I'm continually impressed by how amazing
frisbee people are. The mountains here are incredible: I'm finally living
my fantasy of being able to walk out of my grocery store and see mountains
everywhere! I really love it.

I'm a big nerd. I am living in Beacon, NY (about an hour north of NYC)
and working for IBM as a process engineer, the same place where Sue Jankovsky
was working until this fall. I get to do some pretty neat stuff with silicon
wafers, but there ain't no parties like Disco parties here and I miss
it!!! Best wishes to all of you, let me know when you want to party- megan.owen@alumni.brown.edu

Great to hear from ya'll. I'm at home for the holidays right now looking
at birds out the window as I write. A different scene than what I see
out the window in my current place of residence, NYC (another building--past
the metal bars, that is). So I have this public affairs type fellowship
in Manhattan with this non-profit foundation called Coro. I'm not going
to try to explain it, but I'm learning a ton and being stretched in all
possible ways. I played with Ambush (NYWomen) this fall and didn't go
to Nationals after losing a close game to our nemesis, grrrr, Rogue (I'll
let some other alumni tell you about that from the winning side). Ultimate
continued to bring me sanity and a social life this year. I miss you all
and am hoping to swing Disco Alum Fools 2001! -Becca

Hello everyone. I am currently living and Boston and working at a small
community health center doing some HIV prevention research. My official
title is "retention coordinator" -- try and hold back the laughter. I
moved here this September and was very lucky to join a newly formed team
in the Boston women's club scene called Rogue. We worked hard this Fall
and won ourselves a bid to nationals in Sarasota, FL. We did well there,
but were knocked out earlier than we hoped. A team on the move we are
though -- watch out Godiva! I have future dreams of more travel and joining
the exile to the West at some point. For now though, it's great to still
be so close to Brown and Disco. I'm all for reunions of any sort and had
a blast playing with those of you who came back for Huck a Hunk 2000.
I miss Brown ultimate so much and realize now all the more how special
it is. Good Luck this Spring Disco! (Whitney_Kakos@alumni.brown.edu)
