I got married this summer to a brownian motion alumn, Fortunat Mueller. Many other former brown ultimate players attended the wedding. Obviously, my sister and maid of honor, Sarah Cook, was there. Also in attendence were Whitney Kakos, Adelaide Egan, Ian Fischer, Peri Kurshan and Olivier Humblet, Mo McCamley, Jon Larosa, Liz and Dave Stevenson, Rebecca Center, Shelley Ratay, Justin Safdie, John Gearen and Molly Christiansen, Andrew Schwartz, Megan Owen and Matt Kromer, Billy Rodriguez, Carla Fowler and Moses Rifkin, and oh my gosh I hope I didn't forget anyone. Former Disco coach, Lori Parham, and Brownian Motion coaches, Nathan Wicks and Tom Matthews also attended the wedding. As you can see, the people we met through Brown ultimate continue to be important to us many years later.

to all ya'll disco women... . I am moving up to New Haven this fall for a Master's degree in Environmental Policy and Management at the Yale School of Forestry. Until then I am in Pittsburgh, PA, playing summer league, working for a small PR company doing Sustainable Agriculture Advocacy work, and trying to beat the Pittsburgh humidity. I look forward to being closer to Brown and reunions and such.

Hello Disco Inferno, I just want to let you know how much I miss you all. Ultimate was probably the best part of my life at Brown (which now seems so long ago). Right now, most of my time is spent studying. I'm just about to finish my first semester of med school at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California. The rest of my time is spent with my boyfriend Nate Soule (who I'm living with) and playing ultimate with a team in Napa. I even got Nate to start playing! I'm always looking forward to hearing from anyone: petra@alumni.brown.edu. Take care. Love, Petra

I'm still living in Somerville (near Boston) and will be living in the area until Fall of 2002 when I plan to be heading somewhere for law school. I'm currently working for a management/economic consulting firm in Belmont, MA and I'm enjoying it very much. There are only three of us in the company.
I just finished my 3rd season with Godiva--we took back the national trophy in case you didn't know--yippeee! I'll be doing what I can this Spring from Boston to coach the Disco Bees (Brown Women's B team) and can't wait for that. Also, there is a chance that college nationals will be held near Boston this Spring (2001) and I hope to help plan/run/organize for the tournament, esp. the women's div. I hope the Brown ultimate community, past and present, will come to the tournament to support ultimate, visit old friends, and cheer on our own Disco Inferno. Love, Shana

I do education and family services policy research and program evaluation at a company called Abt Associates--been there since July. I'm taking a class on law this spring and will be taking the LSATs this June, if all goes well. As far as ultimate goes. . . I've played two seasons with godiva and will play with them again this year. This is my first Spring without Brown Ultimate being a number one priority--a very strange feeling.
