WINTER 2007

Team News

Winter has descended upon Providence, and Disco members are eagerly awaiting the coming spring, when they will once again run upon grass, see the sun and be able to catch a disc outside without breaking fingers. In the meantime, one can find Disco working out in the OMAC, playing STC, running track workouts and avoiding frostbite.

AUGUST 2006

Celinda Gourd (grad/'04) and Mike 'Kafka' Kofron (B-Mo/Coach) announced their engagement!!!!

Disco's own Julie Caplow '09 has been chosen as UPA's NE Region Freshmen of the Year!

Although separated for the long, lonesome hiatus that is summer, Disco members continue to hone their skills by breaking the marks and hearts of old men across the country in various summer leagues. The team conitnues to stay in touch (a.ka. trash talk and gossip) via email and useless facebook chatter. Disco looks foward to the ever approaching day when we will again descend upon little Rhody and spread the truth: state size does not matter. Look foward to a strong fall season led by veteran players and awesome teammates, Alyssa Ricker '07 and Carla Thacker '07. Disco for life.

Celinda Gourd '04/GRAD is currently in the process of passing off webstie duties to Molly Cohen '09 and Julie Caplow '09. We will be updating the site over the next few weeks. E-mail us any suggestions that you may have for the site or any bugs you encounter while browsing.

The A team competed at their first tournament of the spring this past weekend in Livingston, CA campus of Stanford.

JANUARY 2005

Website News

Many updates have been made to the website including the additions of the Fall 2004 and Spring 2005 rosters, a tribute to the Class of 2004, and more photos from the summer and fall. If you have material that you would like to add to the website i.e. pictures, alumni updates, etc., send them soon! Once the semester and season begin, it's hard to keep everything up to date.

Other News

The team is currently geographically separated for winter break, but we remain focused on one common goal: mentally and physically preparing for a great season of ultimate. Disco is currently hitting the slopes, wreaking havoc on local high schools, and running old men into the ground until it is back to the OMAC, where the season begins.
